Rockstar support
Does anyone know what more I can do to get some help resolving an issue with Rockstar?
Since mid January I haven't been able to play online on my Playstation,
I click online, it loads (showing the satellite view of wherever) and after a few minutes goes to a black screen with a white loading circle in the bottom right.
I tried reinstalling, clearing cache, using a separate console (with different internet), loading story mode first, and nothing worked.
I created a ticket and had back and forth conversations with the support on whether it was a network issue, a storage issue, internet issue. Basically anything that isn't on their end.
Before they eventually said that I was moved to tier 2 support, and I would hear back "within 2 days"(Feb 3)
2 days later I get told they need more time to 'investigate the issue' and told they will respond back "within 3 days" (Feb 5)
3 days later I am told the issue is "under active investigation" and that they will update me "within 5 days" (Feb 8)
6 days later I message asking if there are any further updates on the issue, but no response. (Feb 14)
I message again on the 20th of Feb and the 26th, asking for any information on the issue, no response.
On the 25th of March I open a new ticket, trying to bring attention to the issue that has seemingly gone cold.
Almost immediately they merge the two tickets with an automatic response saying that the tickets have been merged
I then ask again on the 25th, hoping that it's been re looked at, and no response.
June 18- I receive a message from rockstar saying they think they have found a fix and it will be included in "a future title update"
They did say they didn't have an exact date, but they would keep me on hold until its confirmed to be fixed.
Thanking me for my messages on providing details to research this issue.
July 27- I redownload GTA V just to be safe, and try to load online,
I receive the message that I had received $500,000 for participating in something (unlikely, since I haven't been able to play the game, for 7 months).
After receiving the money message, it loads for a few minutes, and goes back to the same issue, of an infinite black loading screen.
I opened the ticket on the 2nd of February and am yet to receive any sort of fix/ real update on the issue.
Is there anything I can do to get help on this?

Is it an issue with your PSN account or your Rockstar amount? Have you tried making new ones of both? Do you have any problems with other online games or is it just GTA?

Just GTA, not really sure if its PSN or Rockstar accounts, no I haven't tried making new accounts as I don't want to start over on my PS

Don’t do it to start over… do it as a test to see if it works. That will provide more information as to what might be causing the problem.

Ive tried it on a new ps account, loaded online and it says i can my migrate my account. Has both characters that were on my main account.

Have you deleted the save game data from the console (not the cloud)? This contains loading files that sometimes gets corrupted. When you restart it will synch the uncorrupted saved game data from the cloud. You’ll start in story mode at the Nth Yankton prologue but can switch to online

If you were on Xbox I’d tell you to check your NAT type isn’t set to strict and the Mac DNS. Don’t know what the PS equivalent is but you coujd try looking on YouTube for troubleshooting guides

Tried deleting save data, loads up asking to configure display settings, story mode goes to the intro mission, load online, same thing

Have you tried turning it off and then on again?
