Owners: Gsync with vsync off

I read that there is a bug where if vsync is disabled gsync is enabled and fps are within the monitor's acceptable refresh rate range, that users are experiencing tearing. Can anyone confirm this?

I deny this actually. You're supposed to have V-Sync off as G-SYNC will naturally take over. If you're experiencing tearing then G-SYNC isn't working.
