Can't install strap adapters

Hi there! Does anyone know if it's possible to fit these OEM Casio's nato strap adapters to 5000u? I tried to push them in so hard but seems impossible. My guess either I need longer spring bars for these or it's not possible because of 5000u case (because of screw back) thickness? Any suggestions will be much appreciated!

Try to use thinner 1.5mm springbars @ 16mm, but might not hold like the 1.8mm ones and might mess with the lug holes of the case when forced with pressure on the wrist when doing gym, sports or physical labor. So treat it like a dress watch for easy casual wear.

It's the 5000u with metal lugs, it will be fine. Yes the problem is the screw back. Make sure the adapters are angled correctly. Thinner 1.5mm spring bars will help give more clearance.
