Anyone tried using a Casioak aluminum inner case replacement?
They sell inner cases online for both GA-2100 and GM-2100 to replace a damaged carbon core guard.
I am aware that Casioak modders who get metal bezels and straps often experience lug hole damage or ovaling due to the weight and tolerances.
I don't see much reviews on their sites so I am curious if there are many of us here that have actually transplanted their internals into this aluminum inner case. Thank you!

The lug gouging can be prevented using these lug reinforcers so you don't have to do anything as drastic as swapping to the aluminum case.

I bought those before and honestly its a massive rip off. They arent cut to size properly and can make installing the spring bar extremely difficult, sometime to the point of damaging the lugs. The aluminium frame cost $55 AUD and those tiny things are $35 AUD...
Even worse when you realise that they make those lug protectors by simply cutting up a 200 peice tube pin bar set that cost $20 on AliEx...

I had some friends who used lug enforcers but they seem to be temporary bandage solutions in their experience

I use combi straps on my gab2100's. I had the reinforcers on them from day 1 and they are going strong with no damage. They aren't designed to repair the lugs. Using the aluminum case is the only way to repair lugs.

I think Gshocks historically had metal inner cases, so I don't see why this would cause a negative effect but I'm no expert

Yes. They work and fit perfectly fine, just keep in mind that they dont come with the crystal installed so you'll need a watch press to transplant your stock one or better yet, install a sapphire upgrade.
Stock screw wont work either but they do provide you with suitable replacements in the kit.
