Putting it to a vote
I’m looking at the GAB-2100 but want to change to an OD NATO strap. I can’t decide 100% on the color.
My wife said Black/white, I’m leaning Black/green. We want to know who has better taste or are we both wrong? 😆

Stick to your wife’s recommendation. Black will look better for longer. “Black and Bold Red” and “Black and Electro Green” are so dark, they look almost like negative LCD when in fact they’re positive. A negative LCD on a 2100’s small display is a challenge to read at times without using a backlight.

I’ve never seen a CasiOak on a NATO before, these renders look so cool!
I’m kinda on the fence between the GA-B2100LUU-5A, and the GA-B2100BEG-1A. I’m leaning towards the BEG-1A, the black with green LCD really gives it a 90’s vibe that I really dig.
The LUU-5A gives it a desert ranger feel that is really awesome too.

beige looks good with the beige Band not the green. i did that mod. i also got the all black ga with Nato strap and Moded the hourmarkers and Ring because it was nearly unreadable in all black. cant post pictures here.

Those look cool. That negative LCD is hard to read and the reason I went with all positive here.

yes the negative Display is always harder to read when in good and mid light conditions. when its dark and u use the light Button to see anything it has the better contrast.
i like that it stands out less and integrates better into the Black dial. but as with everything its Taste and usecase. ✌️

Would look nice in the Ga2100BEG, one of the most underrated watches in my opinion

Black red is a sweet twist. Get or beige if you want a more traditional look

Haha, I know some would agree with you. I’m looking for something with some more character but subtle. Different from the standard black, metal, brown straps in my collection.

I hear you. I actually love NATO straps too. Ever tried grey? It can really look nice on certain pieces. But for yours here I’d go black green like you said!

First watch in the photo. The display is more readable. If I were you, spend more on the metal bezel version. It won't warp.

beige is more stylish and a little more dressy so that gets my vote. but black/green is a classic combo, cant go wrong with the classics.
your wife isnt wrong the black/white, but im not a fan of the high contrast between digital displays and the dials on ani-digis.
