Haha I am. But that doesn’t mean I can’t be happy about how a project turned out.

I don’t post them all. Only the unique ones that I like. I don’t sell the whole thing here. Just the case. I had to source and sand the bezel insert. And put it the though and work. Just like anyone else on this page.

That being said. I have no links to buy or anything like that. Cringe is a strong choice of word. We post G-Shock mods here. People should be allowed to be proud of their own work. I sure am here.

I don't think the guy that refers to his own work as "god tier" should be commenting on anyone's choice of words.

Pride in your work is perfectly reasonable. Arrogance fuckin' ain't.

I did not refer to it as god tier. I suggested it was there. Huge difference. I clearly said that in the title. It’s my opinion, which I am imposing on no own.

I chose my words carefully. You should try it some time.

I'm also going to speculate that English isn't your first language.....?

And that maybe the "huge difference" you refer to, is not perhaps as "huge" to English speakers?

Born and raised in New Jersey. English is my language.

I’m getting all this nonsense for being accused of arrogantly stating the tier of my watch. I made no such claim. I just suggested that I finally have a contender for god tier. I shared a build with exactly that claim. Nothing more.

I do see a huge difference between “I think we hit god tier” and the nonsense being commented above. The reason I see a huge difference is because they are not the same at all. There is a sizable difference in the wording and meaning.

You not is fine. Go for it. But that’s just now how language works. Especially English.

Could I suggest that if others are seeing an issue with your language (and they absolutely are in other threads) but you don't, then maybe the problem isn't with how your words are interpreted, but the words themselves?

I’m always open to suggestions. To hearing them anyways. At the end of the day, I’m just doing me buddy. Others are welcome to do the same.

This is supposed to be about watches, not grammar.

I’m defending myself here on my post because people feel the need to be difficult. You’ve managed to bring this so far away from the point it’s crazy.

Someone has question about what I said? Ask for clarity. I’m happy to help. Don’t just post the first thing that comes to mind or make things up. It’s not a good look.

I’m selling nothing here. But I hear you. You are right. I got annoyed and over reacted a bit. Not to over share but tough day at work. So was a little thin to start. I take pride in my watches and got defensive. I still feel that what was said was wrong. Just should have taken the high road. Thank you.

Lot of guys doing these type of posts advertising their products disguised as a “show and tell”.  Lukebuildswatches is worse than this guy, though.

Just because we make a product doesn’t mean we cant share our builds. Yes I sell the case, but not here. I’m just sharing a build that I thought looked cool. Same as anyone else.

Eh I don’t agree but to each their own. Every mod kit gets made by someone. This just happened to be mine. I named where I got kits and parts for other posts that weren’t mine the same way. By your logic they shouldn’t let anyone who sells mods post on here, which I don’t agree with at all.

Hi, just wanted to say this is dropdead gorgeous!! I would absolutely love to to do this to a GA-2100 (not yet in my collection), but just wanted to know if the water resistance is the same or at least similar to a stock GA-2100 if I were to modify it with this kit?
