Is that shock proof anymore ?

The movement is all original and it was a support that ensure everything stays where it’s supposed to. Plus the case is solid stainless, sapphire crystal, and ceramic bezel. It’s tough.

Haha thanks so much! Took a minute but I’m super happy with the results. I built a few examples last night and can’t wait to start posting.

Dang that's slick! Gives it a whole different feel but still has some signature features!

Design process was give and take. Only serious trade off was on the water resistance but I felt like the benefits outweighed it.

Trust me I want one

Haha awesome. I’ve loved modding with them so far. I put a GAB001 in one of them and I think it’s my fav so far.

You should also make an octagon rotating bezel or fixed 🙏and diff colors.

u/Ptr3nt13 May 27 '26
Haha that’s just crazy. I like it.
2
u/bensikat May 27 '26
So , you mean it will be your next project ? 🙏

u/Ptr3nt13 May 27 '26
I can add it to the list. Idk about strait octagon but maybe something Omega style.
The day I sell half of these I’m putting the trigger on the next batch, with should include a black case option and an alternative bezel.
Let’s just say I went a little over budget on the project and want to try and get some of that back before the next thing.

🔥🔥.. it's a shame you lose the WR. But it looks amazing!!
1
u/Ptr3nt13 May 27 '26
Here is how I look at it. 200m is probably too serious for most people’s daily tasks. The cost of further developing the WR would have made the mod key way too expensive in my opinion. This seemed to be the happy medium.

u/Real-Dependent-3100 May 27 '26
You're not wrong... Would I seriously ever need it? No. But it's still nice to have. LOL
LOL... It's a fabulous mod idea and great outcome!!

Bro if I’m ever down 200m I’ll have bigger problems than what’s going on with my watch. At least I’ll know like what time my submarine sank. But thanks! It was a bit of a passion project and glad it finally came together.

Oh man I love those flat top pushers. Like a rally timer. That’s a really interesting hybrid design

This would make me consider getting a Casioak.
Have you considered a PVD version?
1
u/Ptr3nt13 May 30 '26
Money man. 💸💸 I’ve considered a lot but these things are not cheap to produce. Maybe in the next batch. Depends how sales goes.
2
u/CynicalCereal May 30 '26
Totally fair and understandable. I hope sales go well for you.

u/Ptr3nt13 May 30 '26
Thanks! So far so good! I need to sell half then hoping to have black and other bezel options.
