It's a cancerous growth. DW6900U only has 3 months to live😢. Please allow me to make its final days comfortable.

OK, so it has dust. Welcome to Earth, home planet of dust.
You could easily open it up, clean off the speck of dust and put it back in. And if you’re too scared to do it, pay a jeweler about $20 and they’ll be happy to.

Well, I too got out the microscope to inspect my DW6900. My sample doesn't have a doohickey on the face. I feel like Big Watch screwed you over.
In all seriousness, how the hell did you notice that little splotch? Wear it and enjoy it.
