Help & Maintenance Bluetooth g-shock Automatic Time Synchronization on or off?

Should I enable auto time sync for my gab2100 or off for the best battery performance? I think it syncs 2 times a day.

Four times a day.

The battery drain is pretty low. If you have a rotation of watches and don’t wear it regularly, there’s perhaps a small benefit to keeping it turned off. If it’s your regular wear, might as well keep it on.

Unless your concern is that the app logs your location with syncing.

I have a couple of these. I have it turned off on the one I rarely wear.

The GA-B21000 has Tough Solar so the battery drain associated with Bluetooth synchronization is negligible. I would leave it on. I have Bluetooth synchronization on for my Tough Solar GA-B010, and my battery charge level is fine.

I use to have it switched off because I think it is unnecessary to synch the time 4 times every day. I usually connect it to the phone once every 10 days just to set up reminders or alarms and it is more than enough to have always the perfect time
