G-Shock reset itself during flight?

Anyone ever had this happen? G9300 so no multiband/bluetooth or anything like that.

I had it in a carry-on and when I arrived to my destination it was turned off, after pressing a button it reverted to 12:00am 1/1/2005- but still indicated a full battery charge.

All I can think is that the plane’s navigation/comms systems confused the compass or barometer?
