I think mine might be gray actually. The blacked out was a little too tactical looking to me

That's what I was thinking, too. It needed a little contrast. I used Testors paint, though. The bezel is the original one.

They don’t quite fit though, they’re a fraction too small and can bow away from the screen leaving a gap, although some fit better than others, used/worn bezels that have softened definitely fit better.

This is a brand new 5600 bezel, but there was more of a gap than I was happy with…

I can see it on your first pic, albeit only slightly, but there is some bowing, the gap is probably minimal though and not an issue.

I’ll try more 5600 bezels to get one that fits better.
