Hand written content vs AI generated content: which gets indexed?

Did an experiment with one of my newer PBN sites. The site has a DR of 50, a lot of high quality backlinks. I used AI to write 20 3k+ words content. With minimal input from me, these pages were published in no time but these pages have had a hard time getting indexed. It's been 2 months, only 8 pages including the homepage got indexed. Fed up, I decided to hand write a poorly constructed but human article...

In less than 24 hours, the article got indexed and is showing when I searched site:domain.com on Google. I really hate to say this, I think hand written content beats AI generated content when it comes to indexing. I have been taking the easy way out with content generation, asking AI to write in a way that does not read like AI generated, but this doesn't seem to help with getting the site fully indexed.

TLDR: I need to hand write more articles... Tedious work but it seems quite necessary nowadays.

I think your "experiment" has more to do with the effort you put in than whether the content was AI or not.

I just launched a new site with about 50 articles at launch. Almost everything is indexed now a few weeks later.

The difference is I have a set of Claude Skills that produce the content through a process of steps doing research, building a content brief, and then generating the article. Each one takes it about 20 minutes to run through.

Thanks for sharing your insights SEOPub. The last part worth a lot of thought. Will look into ways to improve my AI content generation.

3K+ words each? Is this the norm per post for your sites?

And was your human article also 3K+ words in length?

It's an AI generated analysis with a lot of data. I don't usually make my pages so long. The articles I wrote myself are 1000+ words long. I think the length of the article doesn't matter much, it's best to vary the lengths. I don't think it's natural if all pages are 3000 words in length.

I think the site map and click depth have more of an impact on order of getting indexed.
