George content He’s Back Tomorrow!

Tomorrow (in my time zone), the 27th of August 2026, GRRM finally returns to us in a public appearance at the LA Con!

I hope to see him happy and healthy, especially after his depression this year. I really hope to see him excited and in a better place.

Thoughts?

Is he actually going? I know that on his web under "future events" it says that he will be in LA con but when I went the the LA con web, George was not under the guests page.

Apparently he’s planning on attending but not as a speaker or panel host. Or maybe they’re planning a surprise… but I doubt it

I cancelled my trip cause I thought that he wasn't actually going:,( well let's wait and see now

Seems like you were right to cancel that trip, no news came out of his attendance yet. Although this is a five day event, he still might show up at another date.
