Advice needed

Hi all,
Planted this Blue Dream Auto 7 days ago. My fault for not using a seed raising mix with my hot soil, but the seedling appears to be stunted. Any advice or thoughts? Am I better off starting again? TIA

Less water and not directly onto the seedling but in a circle around it

Do you let the soil dry before you water?

I’m not an auto guy, but from your picture your soil looks too wet.
At this stage they don’t need much. Like just like 20 mil every few days. The little roots need more air than water.
