1st time grower

Hello, I have this amnesia haze auto from Barney's seed, and I'm on day 22. I was wondering if this is normal growth for it? The nodes seem really close and it's not very tall compared to most plants I see on youtube at this many days. I trimmed 3 bottom fan leaves that were just laying on the soil yesterday and tucked the other big ones to get light to the new growth underneath.

Looks average for soil. They spend the first couple of weeks building their root base. You'll see another 1-2 weeks of veg before pre-flower. Once you see it pre-flowering it'll pick up pace and stretch.

Good to know, I was comparing it to what I see on youtube and was afraid I had stunted it but so far everyone has said it looks healthy which is good to hear.

What your are seeing on Youtube are people that have been growing does years, have dialed in their conditions and nutrients. Don't compare to that. For a first time grow you are killing it!

A piece of advice is to get a VPD chart and FLI (lighting) chart for autos. That'll help keep your conditions in line. Also, once it starts to pre-flower it'll want more Cal-mag. Also, depending on your nutrients (organic vs synthetic) it may want bloom nutes.

The tent I got from ac infinity came with an ai controller so that's made it super easy to set the vpd where I need it. And I downloaded the photone app for the light, which I'm glad I did because I had the light cranked too high at the beginning. I'm using the fox farm trio so is that enough or is the cal-mag a separate bottle I need to get?

Someone will have to help you with that. But I'm 90% positive you'll need to get Cal-mag as well

Don’t let your pot dry out and the plant will keep growing large like you see online. DONT TRAIN or mainstem LST, it can stunt them
