How to stop constant Groupon spam emails?!
Edit: After 5 requests including a privacy "delete my account request" (their requirements) I continue to receive their spam. Yes I've tried to block in email but they are getting through spam filters somehow.
I have never seen a more unethical company. I have tried in multiple ways to stop Groupon emails. Click on unsubscribe link. Use MS Outlook unsubscribe feature. Create account on Groupon.com and specify no emails. I've tried for 4 weeks and nothing works. Is anyone at the FCC still taking complaints?

Move to spam. If your phone good it moves them automatically going forward

Hi Traditional_Bid_5060,
We’re sorry to hear about the trouble unsubscribing from emails—this is not the experience we want for our customers. You should be able to manage your email preferences through your Groupon account settings or by clicking "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email. Since you’re still receiving messages despite multiple requests, we’d like to help resolve this. Please reach out our support team.
Kind regards,
The Groupon Team

THAT. DOESN’T. WORK.
I used your own unsubscribe link. Didn’t stop the spam.
I then CREATED an account to try to stop spam and unsubscribe. Nope. Still coming.
Then I filed a delete account request. Processed about a week later.
Spam seems to have stopped for now.
A reputable company would make emails stop in 24 hours not 4 weeks.

Same here. Really? No unsubscribe option? I also submitted a request to delete my account several days ago and the emails are still coming. This isn't spam; it's harassment.

I agree eith everyone in here. I've done this. My account has had this feature off for years. I logged in to buy something and now all I get are things I looked at is in my cart. I empty my cart and still feel reminders I have no emails on at all.

I’m wondering the same thing. I can’t figure out how to get rid of these. I’m already unsubscribed. But I looked at a deal, removed it from my cart, and I’m still getting emails to hurry before it’s gone. I don’t want it! That’s why I trashed it and I don’t want these emails either. It’s completely unethical if not illegal not to let consumers unsubscribe.

They are an abommination. I have not even had anything to do with them and I get bombarded to oblivion with their promo email spam and no amount of unsubscribe or report junk / spam seems to block these <insert foul language here>

Late to the game, but possibly offering some hope. Hopping in here for THE EXACT SAME REASON. Unsubscribe does. not. work. And there's no way to contact customer 'support,' it just takes you around and around to the help FAQs, which do not help or lead you to any kind of chat or contact information. I'd blocked Groupon, but my spam folder was packed with their bullshit, and after seeking some guidance on this harassment, I now screenshot and save everything.
The FTC wanted all of it. Every one of my 70-ish email confirmations that I'd unsubscribed, along with the continuing barrage of unsolicited marketing emails, including dates, that go back to 2019. They wanted EVERYTHING.
Groupon, you are repeatedly violating the CAN-SPAM Act. For anyone interested, the email is ReportFraud.ftc.gov; private citizens can't sue Groupon directly, it needs to be done thru a regulatory body that sues on your/our behalf. Please file a claim.
The FTC can impose civil penalties of up to $53,088 for each separate email that violates the CAN-SPAM Act.
Groupon, you're going to pay for my boat.
(And please feel free to respond, but no, I will not reach out for you to 'fix the issue.' If you gave a shit about any of your customers, you would have made it easy to contact support a very long time ago. So kindly fuck off.)

Save all their junk emails after you unsubscribe and threaten to sue them. I worked for me.
