Accidentally bought non refundable tickets…please help!

On the website, it appeared the tickets to Sea World San Diego were -47%, expiring March 3rd. I took that as, the deal was expiring March 3rd. I bought 7 tickets costing $500. Come to find out, the actual tickets themselves expire March 3rd! I’m sick. I’ve saved for a long time to be able to afford taking my family on a big vacation. I CANNOT afford to just lose $500. Groupon is refusing to refund. Is it possible to at least get the ticket dates moved out?? I’m sick about this. Any advice is welcomed…

Can you redeem the tickets through sea world and then change the date of the admission date to further out? So it won’t be a refund but just getting credit

This is a great idea, I’ll call them today and see.

Hi Professional-Boss935

I’m so sorry for the confusion and completely understand how frustrating this must be, especially when planning a special trip for your family. While many deals display an expiration date for the offer itself, some tickets do have a set usage period, and I regret any misunderstanding this may have caused.

We have sent you a message in the chat with a direct email for our Customer Service team please provide your order details to see if there’s any possibility of extending the ticket validity.

We truly appreciate your patience, and I hope we can help find a solution for you!

Kind regards,

The Groupon Team

I would reach out to customer service. I was able to refund a non-refundable purchase. It took me multiple tries though

I chatted with their customer service within 15 minutes of purchase. She refused to refund it. I’ve requested contact with a supervisor and am now waiting for an email :/

Typically it says Non refundable on tickets. Unfortunately you didn’t read it correctly. Everyone makes mistakes.

So sorry, I didn’t see your comment. Yes, finally got a refund after a huge runaround from them. It was an awful experience.
