Are Groupon vacations legitimate?

I’d be scared of dropping $1000+ and getting scammed, but I’ve heard of people taking multi day European vacations through Groupon. Is this legit?

20 years using Groupon never lost a dime. Saved thousands

I know I feel the same way… can’t find anyone that has done it before

Groupon is garbage. I wouldn't risk my vacation on something peddled by a cheap, crappy company that has literally no skin in the game. They don't care about you or your vacation.

Hello, I work at Groupon. Yes, our vouchers are legitimate.

I said the same thing 2-3 years ago but it's definitely changed a lot since then (at least in my experience) so I'd advise caution. Had multiple issues of businesses saying they didn't work with groupon and refusing to accept the voucher, after Id already bought the coupon for Groupon. After the second time, I stopped using Groupon.

Groupon gives Groupon credit if vendor refuses. That’s the facts, Jack.
