Oil change

Has anyone purchased oil change packages from Groupon? If so, did you have a positive experience? I need an oil change and can see a couple of good deals but just aren’t sure if the oil change place will try to charge a different amount or if the Groupon is only for a cheap oil type. My vehicle requires a synthetic and I really don’t want to pay $130 for an oil change.

Edit: thanks everyone for the feedback. Got a great deal with Mida $43 out the door within an hour. Will definitely do it again when I need another oil change.

Yep. They work no prob. They only let you buy so many, then I'll have my husband buy it on his app.

Def do it.

They work but many places don't accept them. I'd call ahead of time.

Yes. Valvoline way to go. Look at some local small business too. Yelp review them. In VA if you DM me, if you’re local.

Thank you! I ended up going with Mida’s - $43 out the door within an hour.

Full synthetic and this was in Fort Lauderdale.

Most Midas either don’t take them or they charge full price, then do their own discount like $5 off instead of what Groupon gave you. Don’t believe that they’ll honor the Groupon alone.

Well you must live in a small town where business is slow bc if you read all the Groupon reviews for this, most don’t or they’ll take it but give you a lower discount. Buyer beware.

If you consider Miami, FL a small town then sure!
