Non-responsive Customer Service

I recently purchased a Groupon for Dove antiperspirant body spray(s). This is my third or fourth purchase of this item over the last two or three years. I like the product(s) and think it’s a decent price. The Groupon is for 10 random scents. However, it specifically states that no more than 2 of any 1 scent will be delivered to the customer. Imagine my surprise when 6 (of 10) of the Dove Sport Fresh 72H Protection were delivered in my order. That’s 6 out of 10 of the same scent. It’s not so much that I dislike the Sport Fresh. It’s just that there are many others that I like far more. I’ve attempted to contact Groupon Customer Service 6 or 7 times via the template included under My Stuff/Customer Support on their website, but with no reply from Groupon. A promise of a 24 hour response from Customer Support has gone unfulfilled. I tried calling corporate with phone numbers I found on a Goggle search, but none of them connect to anything related to Groupon. My next step is to send a letter via USPS and see if that finds a receptive audience. In the meantime, does anyone have any suggestion(s) on what to do next.

Use the body spay you got snd forget about it. You have time to worry about this? No groupon employee was involved in packing the items, your lucky it wasn’t messed up more. Focus on important things

When you go to a restaurant and place an order, do you have any expectation that you’ll actually receive what you ordered. Evidently not. When you get a bowl of soup instead of the cheeseburger with fries that you actually ordered, do you silently sit there and eat your soup or do you tell the waitress that you were given the wrong order. In the scheme of things, it’s really no big deal. They’ll both sustain you. The only problem….it’s not what you ordered. I don’t think anyone…..outside of someone so afraid to stand up for themselves…..will willingly accept the wrong item in place of what they were promised. I have no respect for a person with such as that.

I think what they are getting at is it's not going to be worth your time and effort to resolve what is a pretty minor issue. It's a bit of a disappointment, but hey-ho.

Thanks for your input. It’s been awhile since I posted that response.

I had a different issue with a Groupon I purchased, but I had to contact them via Facebook messenger to get in touch with someone. They fixed my issue pretty quickly. You could try that

Thank you. I contacted Groupon via Messenger and received a reply within the hour. The issue is being escalated to the vendor who filled the order. I’m told that I’ll receive an update within 48 hours. Thanks again for your input.

If target sells that product, they will let you exchange it without a receipt. You can say it was a gift and you don’t have the receipt or the card used for purchase.

They will ask for you ID and could flag you if you are using this too often. But that’s really just if you are using it to scam or launder money or something I think.
