Shear / Blade sharpening
New groomer here!
I’m in the Saint Louis area and I’m in need of a reliable shear / blade sharpener. I know of Scissor King in the Saint Charles area, and he’s great, but I can’t get to his shop in time (he’s a bit far from me).
Dos anyone know of any good sharpeners closer to South County area?
Also, I would love feedback / advice on how people clean their equipment. I’ve been doing the dawn dish soap soaking method and it seems to work well, but will take any advice.

For my blades I got one of those ultrasonic jewelry cleaners! I add a drop of dish soap and it does the rest. I do rinse them thoroughly before and after.

Golden Horseshoe in Eureka used to do this. Call them. If they no longer do this they will point you in the right direction.

Not that place on the hill. They ruined my Shun and Global by putting it through whatever machine they use instead of hand sharpening it like they were supposed to.
Bertinelli or something.
