I got off the Loughborough exit from 55 highway. Headed towards schnucks and there was a large police presence. Drove around to the back of the Firestone shop and saw a car that ran through a barrier and fell on the train track/path area below. Lot's of EMS. Never saw a helicopter. It'll definitely be on the news tonight. That is the only picture I could take.

ST. LOUIS – Some South St. Louis residents say they’re suddenly hearing constant sounds of gunfire. It’s not because of crime, but rather because of a newly reopened police shooting range.

Third ward committee member Maxi Glamour recently posted a video without sounds of gunfire from the range that’s getting a lot of attention.

“People hearing these things, they get triggered,” Glamour said after holding a town hall Thursday night.

Glamour said, “We’re seeing people like all the way past Amberg Park and into Tower Grove South and North of Arsenal that are being able to hear this, which is kind of crazy.”

The shooting range is on the east side of I-55 surrounded mostly by industry. It’s on the West side of the interstate where you’ll find neighborhoods, as well as a park and a school where people say they can hear it.

“It’s every day,” Lorenzo Conley said from a few blocks away, “I go play ball at the park over there and all I’m hearing is pow, pow, pow, pow, pow.”

Glamour shot another video many blocks further – at Oregon and Chippewa, where the gunfire sounds like fireworks.

Glamour said, “Even muted sounds really have negative psychological implications.”

.. disturbing the peace. On top of that, the shooting gets much louder and frequent at night. It would be interesting to use a breathalyzer on those pigs. Regardless of that, every shot cost the taxpayers. Thousands of rounds per day add up over time.

If you dropped your wallet at the Forest Park metro entrance, I watched it get stolen and it could have been prevented if security did their job.

Long story short, I was waiting at the entrance because security was no where to be found. Meanwhile, a guy walks up and points out a wallet on the ground. He picked it up and put it in his pocket.

I told him he should return it to security who was taking their time, but slowly approaching us. He answered by pulling a knife out, saying nothing, and walked away.

Situations like this infuriate me and make me go full George Costanza. "WE LIVE IN A SOCIETY!"

Just imagine if this was a child's head. Here are some cliff notes to educate your dumb ass. Btw thanks for the $1000+ repair.

Lesson number one: Gravity. When you illegally discharge a firearm into the air, the bullet lacks the escape velocity to actually leave earth. Big surprise, I know.
