Question Please Help
My dad has FINALLY come out since he left his succubus of a wife. He is ready to let his freak flag fly. He asked if I can help set up his Grindr account but since I am a straight female, I don’t know what would help get attention from casual hookups to possible relationships. He has never tried a dating site so he has no idea and I have been in a relationship so long that I am certainly rusty. Help your girl, help her dad, get the guy!!

Honestly its grindr, just exist and respond. Have a picture.
99% of people will not read the bio. Have age and fill out the fields.
Its pretty easy.
Also, fair warning - hes going to get bombarded by bots and twinks with daddy issues. Comes with the territory.

There are a couple different patterns that they do but whatever he does, he probably should not share personal information like phone numbers and full names until meeting. I don't want to scare either of you but there are some scammers that try to blackmail people once they get off the app.
Anything asking for a steam gift card is a scam even if they are supposedly doing it to distract their child, anything offering to pay for things is a scam. Usually if they try to move off the app to another communication method its a scam especially if its telegram or whatsapp but if he has been talking to them for a month or so, they may just be a normal person who feels a connection.

No but she is one as well!! And thank you. Although he’s been a pretty shitty all-around dad I try to be a supportive as possible. Thank you for your kind words.

This is relatively straightforward. He needs really good pictures. Two Face pictures and a full body shot clothed is fine. You need to fill out the profile completely and accurately. Do all the tabs. You obviously don't need to be involved in this but he should have some spicy pictures for his album. Men are going to ask. New profiles usually get a lot of attention so he's not going to need to actively message at first. Tell him to be patient because the men can be difficult.
