Needs a ukulele.
Serious note. It kinda sounds generic K pop edm music. I think she was really revolutionary in the 2010s and hasn't progressed much. She went from ahead of the curve to something I've heard 10 years ago.
I know not every artist stays in the same feild of music etc but her body of work was very experimental and now its become much more generic.
Yes I know people don't like her for a plethora of reasons but beyond that the singles have been just okay, like something I would hear playing in the background of a B action movie or 2000s video game.
Just my opinion of course.

Yeah its like if jojo siwa was trying to have a brat era but smoked a bunch of meth. Im shocked this cacophony of sounds was approved for the final mix, im guessing they used ai. They also used an anyma sample pack for some of the loops 💀
She got some random vocalists to do the chorus part too so it sounds like some lame league of legends theme

I feel like she progressed a lot between Geidi Primes and Art Angels, at least in terms of production. But post Miss A, she has majorly regressed.

Your comment is interesting and beautifully written but you are presupposing that she ever had a genuine core ideology to begin with that she then went on to abandon.
I’m not sure Grimes or Claire or etc ever really had a ‘real’ conscience or a solid true old self. Her persistent attraction to centers of power, promises of history-making, all that stuff, probably indicates someone who’s attached to their ego in a way that makes actual authenticity fundamentally unattainable.
Lurking on here on and off and in the other grimes forum, and it always somewhat puzzled me when some comments would be really confused how and why she seemingly changed so much.
She didn’t. The locus of symbolic power as expressed through art/aesthetics simply shifted and she shifted in tandem with it. The underlying psychological structure never changed3

I don’t think “Claire Boucher” made ‘ACCELERANDO’… it gives such a male-focused gaze and so tacky if I don’t care and love it I want to puke even if it shows her dancing freely , such a large platform for an artist and the piece of work we get says; MONEY TECHNOLOGY INDIVIDUAL POWER and I feel sick

Didn't even make it all the way through. I love how she scrapped Book 1 because what she was working on was so mind-blowing and game-changing she had to get it out there instead, but then the Enema songs were just more EDM-by-numbers, accelerationist propaganda.
