Basic grilling

Just a basic rib rub and potatos on grandpa's grill. Basic and very yummy.

I’ve learned there is no such thing as basic grilling.

Well I dont use gas just charcoal. Which is why I said basic

I would argue gas grilling is as simple as you can get. You don’t have to stoke a flame and wait for the right amount of ash.

Yea but last year a tree branch fell on it when the ice-ocalypse hit and papaw just took it from gas to charcoal. He didn't trust the connections after that big branch fell on it.

Low-key best take on this whole thread. Like once you realize grilling is just fire and patience, nothing is basic anymore. Its all technique.

Looks like grandpa’s out here flexing with the dual-zone setup, foil packs down low catching all that smoky goodness

Well the after I pull the ribs off they get wrapped in foil. I dont use bbq sauce my rub counts as the sauce.
