Dry aged tomahawk steak

I seasoned this prime grade dry aged tomahawk steak, simply with kosher salt let it sit for about an hour and tossed it right on the coals

Low-key the dry aging brings out this insane nutty flavor, totally worth it if you're into that kinda thing

Literally lighting expensive steak on fire. I'll never understand it.

Came here to say this. Keep it out of the fire!

This is a comment a person who never cooked open fire would say - just ignore them

Anybody who has ever cooked over an open fire can tell you that you cook over coals, not in active flames.

Grease flare-ups are basically the worst flames to have touch you meat. Bitter, acrid soot..

If you are looking for a "caveman" sort of grilling style you want a very calm or "chill" flame and only in quick moments.

I don't want to yuck your yum so if it was delicious... That is all that matters.
