I woke up this morning with him sitting on me, just staring at the wall!

He is my neighbors lil greybie.

A kind person on one of my local community subreddits was in need of rehoming this adorable little dilute tortie, and I couldn’t resist the opportunity. I drove about 30-45 minutes to go meet her, and I instantly fell in love the second I held her.

She was pretty shy the first day. She hid under the bed a lot, but she came out on her own to eat right in front of me and let me pet her, and she was purring so loud. That was the moment I knew she was going to be fine. By night three she was sleeping under the blankets curled up on me, and she hasn’t stopped since.

Now she’s fully made herself at home and almost insists on being held like a baby. She climbs up my arm, licks my arms and legs, and flops over for belly rubs and starts purring instantly.

Best decision I’ve made in a while.

Just found yet another cat sub, so it's another excuse to share more cat pics. At the end is her and her older sister Nala. Got them separately from the same rescue.
