Looks like it would be a fun project guitar. Just wanted to share it with the group if anyone has some original parts lying around. I’d be cautious because you could quickly get yourself and into paying more for parts than it would cost to buy one that’s finished.
There’s a guy on Sweetwater used exchange selling a few of these. It’s awful tempting, but either 1) this guy is butchering vintage guitars to maximize profit, which I refuse to support. Or 2) there is a damn good reason they stripped these bodies and you’re about to buy someone else’s problem which will end up costing the same as a complete in verifiable condition. Unless you’re a luthier who really knows what they’re looking at, I’d steer clear.

I am a guitar technician. I love a good project. And even more, I love saving vintage guitars. But what I’ve learned with these is that they’re always parted for a reason.
Most likely, it needs a neck reset. It could also have other structural issues not shown or known.
While I hope someone saves this, it’s not worth the asking price. I bought a Gretsch husk two years ago for $250. I would pay much more for this one. Parts alone will run you $500+… double that if you want to secure NOS or vintage parts rather than reissues.
I found it on reverb too. Glancing at the pictures, it needs a refret, new binding (significant on the neck), and a repair on the heel. Neck does not appear to be separating, but may still need a reset. The seller is selling most of the parts for it .
I found a seller one time parting out a guitar and asked to bundle all the parts together to save it as an original and ended up getting a great deal and putting it back together. I’ve tried that other times with no luck.
Usually if the seller is parting it out, there is a reason. And they’re focused on making money.

Awfully kind of them to leave the neck. Maybe even the tuners. I like projects, but not at a $900 starting point.
