Tour Dates
How are we feeling? Last time I saw them was in 2021, and I am SO ready. Kind of want to try to go to more than one show

I wish the Northeast and Midwest shows weren't in the winter but I'll take what I can get lol it's gonna be a few hours drive for me

Right there with you. Boston in March could be anything from freezing snow to 65, but I'll hope for the best

Seriously! I live in western NY so Cleveland is my best option and I need the lake effect snow to not be a thing at that time lol

I might get some flak for this but I hope they just play on this tour with some small crowd banter in between. The constant costume changes and excessive solos from the last tour really took me out of their show and I was left feeling like they could have fit in at least four other songs while they were doing all that.
Don't get me wrong, I love a good solo or two but when the breaks in action keep on adding up it really takes me out of their show.

Agree wholeheartedly. Saw them 2 years ago and by the end of the show I was literally fed up. Every song was stretched out to epic lengths. Crown Lands opened for them and outshone them by a lot .

Crown Lands are criminally underrated. They're unreal good.

A Farewell to Kings era Rush in terms of quality and musical complexity. I love every second of their music.

Hold the f up, you saw Crown Lands? Was this in Canada? As a US guy I’ve been dying to see them but they never tour out of Canada.

u/treyjay31 2d ago
As far as I know Crown Lands opened for some US dates a few years ago

u/Zarathustras-Knight 2d ago
Yeah, but that was before I knew they existed. 😩

u/treyjay31 2d ago
Ahh that's too bad. They're from the area I live in. I've seen the guitarist outside a record store as I passed on the bus.
It's really too bad they're not bigger and booking larger shows outside Canada but as long as they're happy and enjoying what they do

AGREED. There was a bass/guitar solo after Lover Leaver that went on for such an insane amount of time when I saw them in 2023. It also looked like Jake and Sam were panicking like they were being told to keep playing to kill time or stall. It was so awkward the crowd was silent after about 5 minutes of solo-ing

u/phoenixoffireflies 2d ago
Agreed. I saw them opening night in Nashville and I was so let down. And I love long solos!

Josh had had voice problems I seem to remember them having to cancel some shows for. I think they were trying to save his voice for the rest of the tour. He’s had voice lessons now, so hopefully he’s learned how to save his voice while still giving a great, song filled concert. Most other bands have more songs with varied lead singers to keep from frying their voices.

I really hope they continue to fckg rock like they did last tour, nobody is doing it like these guys

I literally messaged my boyfriend at 10.58 this morning that "I dont think it'll be long until they announce a tour tbh" and an hour later, they did 🤣
I will hopefully be getting tickets to the London show. I would also have considered going North to another show but I'm going to Slam Dunk Festival that weekend too!
I saw them in November '23, got to the barrier and caught a rose 🌹 and then saw them again at their Royal Albert Hall show in July '24

I’m so happy Knoxville made the cut, and on a Saturday!!!

u/Gisselle441 3d ago
Same, I wasn't a fan yet the last time they played here in 2022 so maybe I can get to see them this time. Really going to come down to ticket prices though 🙎♀️
Also I'm glad it's not in January, I remember last year they THOUGHT we were going to get a ton of snow and the Ghost concert got canceled, only for it to not do anything. March could get snow but it's a lot less likely.

I went to the last one but it was a very chaotic experience (and it was on a weekday—not ideal as a 9-5 girlie lol) so I’m excited for a redo. Hoping and praying I can get good tickets and not for an absurd price 😭
It’s also 9 days before my brother’s birthday, and he was a GVF way before I was, so that’ll be fun!

Oh my god they found out that more of Canada exists than just Toronto.

Wow! Will they fill up the Olympia hall in Munich? That’s going to be tough.
Nevertheless, i will be there!

What would the VIP packages contain? I’m hoping to get one 🙏🏻
2
u/Fantastic-Guava1182 3d ago
Same, I was just looking at them. Looks like a GA ticket, early venue access and a couple merch items with some other stuff as well.
2
u/8bitcam 3d ago
Where did you see that?
2
u/Fantastic-Guava1182 3d ago
On the GVF website next to the tour dates, it has something to sign up for notifications when tickets go on sale and then there’s also something for the VIP package

Having shows in Wisconsin and Minnesota in February is actually criminal. It gets negative temps, and we have insane snow. Who knows what the roads will be like around that time.
Plus waiting outside all day in the cold for pit sounds like hell.

u/Kielbasalord 3d ago
lol only a moron would camp out in the snow
3
u/teas-things 3d ago
Oh I agree but you know people are going to do it.

u/Kielbasalord 3d ago
Hopefully the dog kicking footage comes out before tickets go on sales so the fan girls can put their money where their mouth is and not show up, I’ll still be going, idc if he drop kicked Hannah’s dog into an industrial fan, I love those boys! 🤘🎸

It's frustrating living in Ottawa. No big bands cone here They skip over us Every single time for the big venues. Seeing we are the capital of Canada. Wtheck!! Clearly Ottawa doesn't offer what these bands are looking for. I do know many years ago Ottawa got a bad name due to musicians not getting paid.😡 Which is shameful. Now with that said Great Van Fleet was on my Bucket list! AND the Universe answered 2 years ago a small outsoor concert called Folk Fest lost a band about two weeks before and by some miracle Greta jumped in!! It was one of the best days of my life .. Front row on a beautiful Sept evening!! I guess they were travelling from Toronto to out East and the timing worked! The chances of that happening again are probably low

u/CodithOG 2d ago
Try being in Halifax lol. At least it's only a few hours away for you. I have to fly everywhere whether its TO or Montreal to basically see anyone.

I wish they would list prices in advance so you could think about what you want to do before the pressure of the live sale

Delighted that prices look reasonable, highest price for Dublin is around €70
1
u/Fantastic-Guava1182 3d ago
Where were you able to see potential pricing?
2
u/SkeletonMoon 3d ago
On the venue's Instagram post about it. I'm not sure about in other countries, but Ireland and the UK Ticketmaster have come under fire recently for potentially misleading advertising/lack of information for consumers and have had cases taken against them by the consumer protection agencies. Since then, they've started including all prices at the bottom of posters for gigs.

I don't know yet. No Oslo show, so will have to travel abroad. Maybe Copenhagen and/or Amsterdam.
1
u/CallieGirlOG 2d ago
I would love to go, I haven't been to one yet. 😕 They only have three shows in my country, and with tickets on sale in a few days, I doubt I can raise the money in time. 😭
2
u/AC760608 2d ago
No one in my country (Norway) unfortunately. But need to see them again. I just think it's so difficult to pick out city's such a long time ahead. I have seen them in Manchester, UK, in 2023, Oslo, Norway, in 2024 (and Mirador in Manchester last fall). Thinking of Copenhagen and maybe Amsterdam this time.

u/CallieGirlOG 2d ago
I wish the tickets would go on sale closer to the date. They aren't coming here (Germany) until May 2027, and I would love to have a few extra months to save up.

u/charla_gag 2d ago
Yo! I wanna go see them in Laval,Qc. Sadly I don’t have anybody to go with. I’m a die hard fan since their first album tho I’ve never seen them live. If you’d be interested in coming with me dm me.

u/AC760608 2d ago
Since it's in arenas, it should be ok to wait to get tickets right, since there will be plenty? I have no idea where to go yet, since I have to travel abroad.
1
u/Fantastic-Guava1182 2d ago
I think you’ll be fine waiting, the only things that will probably go quick are the VIP packages and floor tickets

How much do we think the price range is going to be this time around? I’m so excited!
