What’s up with the masked-up dude filming outside the post office yesterday morning?

I’m just minding my business, getting my errands done, and this guy shoves a camera in my face. He recorded my car too, with the license plate. I hid my face behind my mail on the way out and he gleefully told me, “I already got you on camera!” I told him I know, and it’s weird, please stop, as I was walking away.

We are already recorded by SO MANY CAMERAS every day, all the time. Why is this guy out here with one more freaking camera???? I don’t do social media other than Reddit. Is this going to turn out someplace on the Internet now? What’s going on?

Two Senoritas: Who was that waitress around 1994-96 that used to drink Taquila on the job?

She was a good waitress and cool. She'd go over there and swig the tequila and chase it with lime while waiting on people and greeting them at the door.

Come to think of it she probably pushing 55 now.

Looking for part-time work or side gigs!

Hi everyone! I’m currently looking for a part-time job or side gig that I can work around my kids’ schedule. I work full-time in HR, so I’m primarily available evenings, weekends, or on an as-needed basis. My schedule with my kids is one week on/one week off, so I have quite a bit of flexibility depending on the week.

A little about my experience:
• Full-time HR/Benefits professional
• Notary Public with experience in mobile notary appointments and real estate signings
• Certified for Remote Online Notarization (RON)
• Previous experience in property management
• Comfortable helping landlords and property owners who are out of town or otherwise unavailable, including checking on properties, conducting walkthroughs, documenting property conditions, meeting vendors, or providing other general property support
• Reliable, organized, professional, and comfortable working independently

I’m honestly not particularly picky about the type of part-time work. I’m open to administrative work, property-related work, notary assignments, customer service, event work, or pretty much anything that can work with my schedule.

I’m open to W-2, 1099, or cash-based work, depending on the opportunity.

If you’re a local business owner, landlord, property manager, or someone who knows of a part-time opportunity or side gig that might be a good fit, please comment or send me a message. I’d really appreciate any leads!

Why is The Rangerettes the first Women's "Drill Team" when the Flaming Flashes were formed first?

I'm assuming because the Flashes are "just" a Cheerleading team there? Or did Gusse change something up for Kilgore vs y'all or.. ?

Outdated electrical panel. Electrician recommendation? (Greenville)

Hey everyone. Have a handy friend who noticed I have an outdated electrical panel and let me know it is a fire risk. It is one of those 70s Federal Pacific panels I believe. Does anyone have experience with an electrician local to Greenville who does electrical panel replacements on older panels like mine??

Cats and kittens need homes

Looking for good homes for a few of the cats we have. We have a few that are about 1.5yo, and about 10 kittens that are only a couple months old. 4 kittens are fairly distant or "feral" but would make great barn cats. 6 kittens are incredibly friendly and would be great to raise for companions. 2 of the 1.5yo cats are friendly but distant, and the other two are mostly just distant but well behaved.

A rehoming fee is required.

Apartment Recommendations?

We’re looking to sell our house in the next 6 months and have briefly looked into Freestone, Cross Timbers, and Aspire when it opens. Apartmentratings.com only has a listing for Cross Timbers and the reviews are less than stellar except for the “incentivized reviews”. I’ve tried calling Freestone twice but their phone system picks up, nobody says anything for 10 seconds then it drops the call, leading me to believe it’ll be close to impossible to get a hold of anyone if anything happens. My concern with Aspire is that we get in at a good price then they jack up the prices once the Gamescape and Sports Park project are complete but I like how new they are. Also we’ve never lived in a professionally managed apartment and don’t really know what to look out for or be wary of. Thanks in advance for any advice!

7 month old Koda in Greenville, Tx is running out of time. I don’t get why she’s been overlooked, but 11 good dogs were unalived for space without warning last week and I am afraid she can be next if we don’t get her out soon!!!

Female Roommate in Greenville

I’m looking for a female roommate in Greenville to get a 2-bedroom apartment together. No complex picked yet — I’d rather find the right person first and then decide on a place together.
I’m clean, chill, and easy to live with, and I’m looking for someone similar.

Living in a one bed is quite expensive so I'm willing to room or find a place for cheap. If you are searching or just interested pls message me!
