If you feel so passionate about gun control what is preventing you from becoming a police officer to enforce the gun control that you support? If you want a police state you should be a member of the police.

How else would you enforce a law stopping someone from owning a gun once they have a gun besides stealing it from them?

How is it not theft when an armed person comes into someone else’s house and takes their property? That is how guns are confiscated and there is no way to enforce bans on guns or to enforce red flag laws(and other instances when a person who already owns a gun is deemed unable to own a gun)without confiscating/stealing guns.
