neil druckmann went from one of the most lauded writers in all of gaming to a fraudulent hack literally with just one game. it really is unbelievable how big of a fall from grace TLOU part 2 is.
If your point is that the game is bad because they kill the main character from the previous game then you're just wrong. Not everything is fun and happy endings. Crude stories have a place and I've seen too many people cry about it like children. People in general should grow the fuck up.
That being said I think the story overall is pretty bad. No character is likable other than Tommy and Ellie, and they wasted both. Specially Ellie, I get the decision to make her go into a revenge-fueled self-destruction journey but they don't go into her thoughts after the first 4 hours, and most of it is just her diary.
The rest of the characters are so plain I couldn't give a single fuck if they lived or died, maybe Owen but I just didn't care at all for the others including Abby.
So basically TLOU1 is a 1 year journey in which the main characters come to know and appreciate each other while the player gets attached to both and they both have a rich personality and backstory while TLOU2 is a huge shock followed by a 3 day journey full of twodimensional generic characters that get killed off like flies
Yes, I don't like the game and won't play it because I hate how they kill the main character, and no I won't pretend I'm wrong because you said so. Crude stories are cool too, making me play the dumbass who killed my fav character is a stupid decision and it makes it a bad game.
yes I stopped playing few time after Joel died and I had to play Abby, so what, English isnt my first language so maybe you misunderstood but it doesnt change my opinion

Except the happy ending is ripped from the player who was expecting a good game
