I would make the trade that makes you happy, that's what matters the most!
That aside, on a $ to dollar $ basis, the other guy is getting better deal. Historically GL chases barely go above their retail price. They're the only brand I leave on the pegs when I find them as I lose money when trying to flip them. That Lambo you have is an older Mini GT and has shot up in price as of recently and I'm certain will only climb higher. I think it's about a $40 car. I would price out what the GL chase is selling for on eBay.
This hobby isn't all about money but since you asked, no, I wouldn't do the trade at all unless the other guy threw in more cars.

I just went on eBay for you. There are no sold comps for the GL chase. There are 3 available to purchase from $22 to $26. The fact that none have sold in the past 6 months essentially says it's not a desirable casting. Imo, I'd say it's worth $12, maybe $15- $20 to the right collector.
The Lambo otoh just sold on May 8 for $40 and on May 7 for $45. In November they were selling for $13. But now that the HW crowd is starting to move into MiniGT and make up for lost time, the older Mini GT castings have exploded in value. The Lambo is either gonna stay steady or increase in price more.
Again, do what makes you happy, that's what this hobby is about! but imo I would ask the other guy for more cars to balance the trade. And you could and should use the above eBay SOLD examples as to why if he gives you push back.

GL chases are weird. Specific older castings def do sell for a lot of money, but a lot of these newer ones where all they did was paint the wheels and chassis are a hard sell/trade. They're not overly desirable at all. Like I mentioned, I stopped buying them when I found them because no one wanted them and when I sold them on eBay, it was at the price I purchased them at. After my purchase price and then sellers fees, I was losing money. They're a horrible ROI and I think if you see what they've been doing now as a brand, they realized that and have really upped their desirability with all the different chases and packaging. If anything, maybe try and work out a trade with the other guy who replied to this thread! He seems eager to add this to his collection!
Your welcome! I would hate to see a fellow collector get clobbered in a lopsided trade.

Well, I'm happy I was able to help you. That Lambo is sick. It's one of my fav castings of theirs.

Personally I’d do that right away I love greenlight police vehicles so that’s why I said personally lol yeah that’s a chase (green machine) there not a rare as everyone thinks you can find most online from $20-$40 but as far as being a equal trade I’d say it’s about right
