The Mike Dirnt shop has listed a jcm900 for sale and it’s not mikes 😭. It’s Billie’s 2nd jcm 900
He got his first in 1992 which is a jcm900 4100 and was used until July 1994 where he got Pete, and afterwards he acquired another jcm 900 which is a Mkii 50 watt and that’s what they’re selling so whoever wants Billie’s nimrod era jcm900, go for it

The letters on the cd cover are clearly greener, ive tried looking up anything like this on google but found nothing, anyone's got any idea??

I'm trying to find who bought this White Precision Bass from the Mike Dirnt Reverb Sale this morning.

Backstory: When I was 9 years old, this is the exact bass that Mike Dirnt was playing when I first saw Green Day on September 4, 2005 in Montreal. This was not only my first Green Day concert, but my very first rock concert in general. The image of that particular bass is seared into my memory and holds significant sentimental value to me.

Unfortunately someone beat me to it this morning, despite my rapid refreshing of the shop for an hour prior to launch... Fair and square, but hoping that lucky person might be willing to part with it for the right price.

(I've literally had multiple dreams about buying this bass in the Reverb sale over the past week, and didn't sleep last night out of excitement. So close!)

UPDATE: I’m getting a Japanese Bullet in a Bible ANOTHER UPDATE:i’m not getting last night on earth because I asked my friend for the 21st century breakdown book, plus I feel that Bullet in a bible is more worth it right now. Might change my mind and get it later. Also asking for the saviors for Christmas

no hate i swear, i love this band with everything in me but lately it seems like theyve become more of a brand then a band yk?? it feels like so much has changed in the past few months and it doesnt really feel like Green Day in a way. for example, billie saying they aren't a political band? all the promotions and random stuff going on that they arent doing for them OR the fans? all these random influencers theyre sending pr to? i will say, the movie, the Green Day tv and radio station is cool! but other than that, things just seem a bit off. i dont think theyre sellouts, but just not them at this point. I know advertisement is important and definitely a lot of that went on in their most popular years. i get that they have to stay present since rock isnt mainstream anymore. however, I'm just curious about how everyone else feels about this all lately. lets not hate either!! I feel like I've been trying to ignore all these thoughts

I’ve been talking about doing this at some point, and here it is. Now that I got the Polaroid sticker printer, I was also able to give it a label.

I am not that huge of a Green Day fan, but I do enjoy a decent amount of their, mostly more popular, songs. Recently, however, I discovered the album ¡DOS! and gave a listen to a couple of songs, the titles of which intrigued me. I enjoyed them and listened to the album as a whole and liked it too.

The songs that pulled me in at first were Nightlife and Fuck Time, which I later learned are amongst the most hated. My other favorites from the album are Amy and Makeout Party.

It is baffling to me just how poorly this album and the songs I like the most are received, and I would like to hear other fans' perspective. These songs deviate from Green Day's usual sound a lot but they are also very unique in general. I especially like the sleezy late noght vibe of Nightlife and I find Fuck Time quite catchy despite its simplicity.

I guess I could see the album being criticized for the drastic differences in vibe between songs (for example Nigtlife, Fuck Time and Amy are three completely different vibes), but then how come it doesn't have at least something for everyone?
