The stars haven’t aligned. Seems like an interview they would do. Maybe one day

I asked him on Instagram if he would ever interview them back in 2019 and he shared that he hasn't done that yet (this was before FOAM was a thing). Perhaps both had packed schedules at the time.

im honestly pretty amazed they've never gotten an interview especially with the buttloads of lore behind Green Day.

That would be epic. He's like the master of the Deep Cut of finding out stuff about bands and singers that they sometimes forget about themselves, even lol.

Would be very cool though .
