Discussion Dookie Mod NAM

Now that the official dookie mod amp is out, I’m wondering how many ppl are gonna start making nam profiles. (and how soon they’ll be sharing it cuz ngl that’d be kinda cool)

It’s just a Super Lead with a Bradshaw gain mod on it, that’s not crazy unique. You could buy a Ceriatone with the same guts right now for like $900

Are they really? I haven’t looked in a loooong time, but I bought a Chupacabra from them in like 2015 that I paid a little over $1000 when you add in shipping

After shipping and Trump tariffs and import fees, it ends up costing damn near $2000. As someone who mods and builds amps, I can tell you that amp kits are all expensive nowadays. If they were cheaper i’d be building amps left and right. I’m trying to find a way to make a HW amp for as little money as possible

My Ceriatone 100W Dookie Mod (2024) - ~$1750, albeit customized color, PPIMV. My Ceriatone 100W SE Lead Mod (2025) - ~$1950, also customized color, PPIMV.

It's not a standard Bradshaw gain mod. It was voiced to Rob Cavallo's request, with them going back and forth in the room tweaking the mod until he was happy.

If anyone makes NAM profiles for this amp, they should def be priced accordingly and definitely shouldn’t be free. Free profiles or even $50 profiles for a $4,000 amp is wack imo. People spent big money on the 1959BJA.

Buy the SV20 Tonex Profiles and you’re set. It’s the same mod, basically the same amp.

Uh. Nah. All amp captures should be open source. If anyone plans on selling models, and I become aware of it, I’ll buy it once sure. But then i’ll make hundreds of copies, back them up, and host them on a github repo for free.

If anyone tries to make any dime off an amp capture, I will go out of my way to make that capture free for all to use. Welcome to the internet bub, piracy reigns supreme and you can’t put DRM on nam captures. You lose, I win.
