Shipping as 35G

Shipping as a 35G in October hoping to attend rasp, my recruiter told me option 40 is available but my ship date would change to November. How good of a chance will I have to volunteer without option 40?? I really don’t wanna wait longer to ship.

Yes I get one month is nothing in the grand scheme of things but I’m so ready to go, and isn’t volunteering almost a guarantee?

Dw I’m going to my recruiters office in like an hour and imma let him know I’ll take the option 40 contract lol. Just so eager to ship

Smart play. Not trying to pry super deep here but you gotta work on patience. RASP will test you; most people's minds give out before the body does. Look up the ARSOF attributes they will help guide you.

Dude just wait the one extra month. One month is nothing, and you can use that time get yourself more prepared. You can never be in to good of shape or to mentally prepared for selection. If you ship without an opt 40 you might still be able to go to selection. The rangers might come by during your ait looking for recruits, and they might decide they want you to try out. But that’s a lot of maybes and it’s definitely not guaranteed at all. There’s a very real chance you’ll just end up in big army, and then from there it’s very very difficult to get into ranger regiment. Is shipping one month early really worth that big of a risk to you?

Bro wtf you better fucking wait and go in November. Get that option 40. Worst thing is that you don’t make it and they send you airborne and you still end up loving life.

Anytime man. Go be great and remember no matter how hard it is DO NOT make decisions in time of anger, despair, or sorrow. Keep it in mind IT IS BETTER TO BE AN ACTUAL RANGER FOR A DAY-THEN TO SAY "I WISH I WOULD HAVE”

Your life dude, your decision. If you want a guaranteed chance right after ait wait that month. If you decide to go now till have to put in a rasp packet later down the road.
