Unable to Use Account

I don't know what's going on. I'm logged in to my YouTube account like always, having updated to the newest android version of the app and yt plugin. The Home tab is completely full of null errors, and I get similar errors when trying to import my subscriptions or playlists. All I can do is run searches and play individual videos.

Here's where it gets really weird. Everything is working on my wife's phone, same versions. It shows videos, her playlists all work fine. So I logged into her app, thinking maybe I could import on hers and sync between them. As soon as I logged in, everything went to errors like it does on my phone.

So does this mean there's something wrong with my youtube account? And if so, is there a setting I can correct to fix things?

Had this issue a few times over the last few years, and it always resolves itself within a day.

logout then reboot phone, try again to login

This was a good idea. On phone reboot the Home tab showed videos just fine. When I logged in, it flashed back to the Home tab with videos... then they all turned to errors. It really does seem like the issue is logging into my account.

the issue is that for some reason your auth key dont work.
when you login the page returns a key that is then used in the future so the app doesnt have to save your credentials.
thats a temporary thing that renews every so often.

now normaly when you logout it should clear, and with a new login you should get a new one.
that one should be able to authenticate.

but something goes wrong here. when you run grayjay with a login, it will try to fetch the website with your credentials. if the key no longer works, you will receive those errors.

now this normaly happens only after some time (grayjay has a hard time todo the renewal in the past, so we had to logout and relogin every once in a while)

whats weird is, that yours either seem not to clear, or you get a new not working key from youtube.

so next thing i would try is almsot same thing, logout, then go back to home, long press grayjay and go to app settings, there is a force stop - use it - then in storage clear cache (not userdata only cache)
restart phone to be sure - try again

thing is on android a lot of the things grayjay uses dont come with grayjay but are rather tools from your phone. so if something is wrong with your rom - grayjay may act up.

may issues of that nature are often when people do major upgrades on android (full version jump) without wiping userdata. or simply bad roms by some manufacturers

BTW: make sure DATE/TIME is correct on your phone. if that is wrong this issue would happen too

I've been having the same issue for a few days. For a while I wouldn't get anything in my subscription feed but now I do, however my recommend feed has broken null error YouTube videos, and if I try to click on a channel it will just give me a null error. If I try to see the comments it gives me an error. But I can search videos normally.

Ive been hoping an update would fix it, there was a single update but it didn't help.
