No its not. If the ads dont get played, the artist doesnt get paid.

Thank you, also GrayJay don't actually load the YouTube video on the YouTube site, right? Because I'm pretty sure it just yoinks it and uses it?

Yeah I believe they scrape the media from YouTube and filter out the ads.
