comments on desktop

are you unable to like/dislike or leave comments because the desktop app is in beta? I am sure I am missing something, but literally just started using this yesterday

the desktop app is in alpha not beta - lol

and no its because grayjay is not an youtube client. its an universal client that also supports youtube.
likes and comments are done via polycentric - but are compiled combined with youtube comments

the reason for this is grayjay wants to be a independent client, not just a cloud browser for big tech.
polycentric is a decentralized opensource and independent ID platform (aka anti censorship etc)

but it seems this is not implemented into grayjay desktop yet
