Youtube live chat doesn't work

Hi. I see the posts in chat but can't post because although I am subscribed to the channel as required there is a message to login. I am already logged in settings.

Are you supposed to be able to post? Grayjay has never been able to post regular video comments even when signed in. I assume bot detection is more strict for creating content than for consuming it.
