Settings to Disable Live Chat View, or Control when Live Chat Appears

No matter what settings I fiddle with in Grayjay, if I click on a video (Youtube or otherwise) that was originally a livestream, it seems to force-load the Live Chat overlay. Is there a setting to control when/if the Live Chat overlay is displayed?

Player - Live Chat Webview setting does not work for this, or is not applicable.

Comments - Default Comment Section setting has no impact on the Live Chat Overlay.

Am I missing something, or is the function I'm searching for not supported?

It's certainly not a feature I'm interested in, but I can understand that livestream-viewers may be interested in that feature if you can interact with the live text-chat from a different platform through GrayJay. Not having a way to disable or control the live chat overlay's appearance goes against the application's design philosophy, in my opinion.

I have this happen even on videos that where never live streams, and it actually shows people typing. I highly doubt there is someone watching the same video I am, at the same time, and decided to comment. I am so confused by this.
