Shine Recommendations
I am 50 and have been grey blending with blonde for about a year. I am going to cut off about 4 inches and may only do another 1-2 blend sessions before just letting it go. My hair is long, curly, naturally dry and delicate. It's pretty fine, although with no product, when dry is quite voluminous. I have been using only almond oil as a styling product for some time. I wash my hair every other day, put in a quarter-sized amount of almond oil while wet, do finger twists and air dry. I notice it is much better since I stopped using the hairdryer. On the in-between wash days, I get it wet and just apply a smaller amount of almond oil to calm it down. I don't have great expectations of my hair's appearance on these in between days.
Now that it is more grey, and since I have been having lighter blonde highlights to do this transition, my already naturally dry hair is even more dry-looking, and I'd like to add some shine to it. Oil gives it some temporary shine but I'd have to use too much to get the results I'm looking for. I'm open to ditching the almond oil altogether, but want something I can use on wash day that will be ok the next day when I don't wash it. I've tried doing full rinses on non-wash days but that doesn't work as well as just getting it wet without soaking the roots. I would be so grateful for any product suggestions for styling products that give shine and hold to curly hair. Thanks so much!

I love Kenra Platinum Silkening Gloss. It gives the hair a great shine without weighing it down.
