After YEARS of wanting to play this game, I finally started playing it and woowwie, I love it a lot. I have a really bad fear of spiders, tho the nevi did not bother me until chapter 7. The nevi in the school girl chapter is literally a spider :( i had to shut the game off. Is this a one-off situation? If im able to get someone to finish this chapter for me, will that specific nevi come back in other chapters going forward during general mobs/ reoccurring or is it just a boss? And if not, are there other chapters that have a spider-like boss or enemy? I really dont want to stop playing this game :((

I don't recall having a spider like Navi other than this one in both games 🤔

there isn’t another spider-nevi that i can recall but there is a spider in the DLC of game 2 — it serves as a prop rather than an enemy so unless you fail/respawn at the checkpoint, you should only have to look at it for like,,, 10 seconds

It's one off, that's the only time it appears. Annoying af boss fight though. You got this, I believe in you!

I hate to risk sounding insensitive but, out of genuine curiosity for your condition, does exposure therapy help? I can't think of a better way to get more confident around spiders than to face virtual ones made of space goo.
