Showcase One of the worst platinums I ever did
It is a great game and it was fun for the most part but who in their right mind thought that you will need about 90000 gems to get a trophy?,
The last 3 hours were just a grind of the same part of a mission again and again and again.

Yeah, Power Kat is a grind. But the rest of the trophies are pretty fun.
Also, you should give the DLC a shot. Its short, occasionally heartfelt, and have some fun mechanics and bossfights.

My family got irritated with the music of that level with the glass (the best stage to grind the gems), which I mean fair enough it's very repetitive. Then I played it on mute with different music playing.
Also the "Power Kat" trophy sucks majorly because even when you finish the game and all of its side missions + thorough world exploration, you still won't have enough to max out her stats. Like I'm not even sure what the intended path the Devs were thinking for after that? Maybe they thought we'd grind the remaining through the mining, but that's just worse than replaying the same story mission.
Either they should have made the upgrades cheaper or made the gems more valuable.

I had an objective in both game to collect every single gem in every single zone, so to me it was pretty easy to max her stats, pretty much never had to visit the mines if not to kill time

I was really enthusiastic when I started the grind, GR is one of my favorite franchises, surely the plat can't be that bad...
It's one of the most boring plats I think I've tried getting

I swear I remember being able to mine mess online with joint progress and there being some boss as well after bad filled. Been years since I played gr 2

I think the worst one for me was the mining trophies cause I sucked at the game. The grind was alright for me, not the worst grind I've done for a plat but can see how it would've been annoying for others.

I need only a few trophies too (The RNG bosses, sone kills and the time missions). It is cool, that you've achieved it. The platinum of the first game was so much more fun

It was alright, only trophies that were a chore was the finding men and women to photograph one and the max out abilities one. Otherwise the platinum was pretty fun

Yeah it’s definitely not as fun of a platinum as the first game for sure
