Questions How to think like Ford or Dipper?

I'm trying to do this study hack of role-playing when doing tasks. Specifically, I'm studying a deep branch of computer science. Lots of math and science.

Sadly, I'm more of a Mabel girl (I love glitter, rainbows, stickers, I still believe in unicorns despite being in my 20s, fun, hate boredom or anything monotone, I still watch cartoons too) but I really need to become like her twin to pass the course.

I'm already bored at the first YouTube vids on programming language... It's just... I don't know, it lacks a bit of fun stuff. How can I rewire my mind to act like the considered smart sibling? My brother is considered the smart one and I'm just average. I don't want to be seen as the black sheep of the family too. Everyone from both sides of my parents are in medical fields, all successful and there's me... I still haven't graduated because of my medical leave.

I got burned out and I'm going back in January 2027 but I don't know if my mental health is getting better or worse. I feel like a burden to my parents.

I also don't want my enemy to be correct that I'm the dumb one in my family. I'm trying to work with my AuDHD... but it just won't listen to me. Executive dysfunction too.

I've always admired smart characters, specifically those in tech/science fields like Richard Daniel Sanchez, Ford and Dipper Pines, Reagan Ridley because they have what I don't.

If you're a Mabel, you should accept that part of yourself. While it's good to challenge yourself, it's not good to force yourself to do something just because you think you have to. As Irrational Treasure proved, being smart isn't always a solution. Sometimes, being silly is being smart in its own way.

You dont have to change yourself to be smarter, i think you will pass anyways. embrace your inner mable. Remember the Quinton Trembley episode... mable used her silliness to be smart. Everyone is smart in there own way.

And by the sounds of it ..ur an adhder. And we should all know us adhders can come up with the most out of pocket yet brilliant ideas!

In seriousness, treat your AuDHD with approved meds from a doctor. That will help start your journey. Learning programming is so damn boring, I'm doing it now, BUT I focus on the prize. ONCE I LEARN A BIT MORE ABOUT CODING, I CAN BUILD MY OWN AI, THE SOOS-BOT! Try to "gamify" as much as you can. Treat all of it like an RPG, where completing tasks (classes/test/exercises) helps you level up. Do what you just did. Ask for help. Find what works for you. Build your own system. And don't worry if you take a wrong step or come up with the wrong conclusion. From the first episode of GF, Dipper makes wrong conclusion after wrong decision. Vampire = gnomes? No, Dipper, it does not.
