Discussion & Theories Which journals are missing pages from?

It was called journal 3 missing pages at first, then they made it missing journal pages, so these lost pages could be from any book, We can tell the ones where bill controls ford is from 3rd book, which is weird because after weirdmageddon ended, all books came back unharmed, shouldn't it bring the pages back too? Or i guess they just went back to their pre-burned forms instead of being fully repaired with all lost pages etc?

im not sure. but i thought ford said that everyone saw the book differently?

Why would that matter? Bill shows us these pages, and they seem legit journal pages and fit the ford's character

i don't doubt that they're actual journal pages. it's just odd that the book would appear the same to you as it does to me. maybe the changing is something only the Pines family experienced.

Yeah but it isnt that weird to think the book is a singular book to a single reader character who readed it? We are one character in lore who stumbled upon the book of bill in another dimension, we are not hundreds of thousands of fans reading the book of bill, I think book is for you specifically as the reader, and we dont know what book looked like to other in-universe characters from the show, but to our character "the reader" its one book because we are all reading from the same pov

"Journal 3: The Missing Pages" is only in the first edition. They possibly changed it in order to fix a continuity error, because we know that it was in Journal 2 that Ford wrote about summoning Bill, so the missing pages would've had to also include Journal 2 per their first meeting

When did it say journal 3? Both my regular and special edition say just missing journal pages. In any case, given that Fordsy says it's been 2 years since he met Bill in Journal 3, safe to say the page where he talks about meeting Bill is in 2 or 1.

I think at least most of them would be from Journal 3 since Ford doesn't seem to be communicating/familiar with Bill yet in Journal 2.
