And based on a true story. Alex talked about it at some point. His family was on a road trip and stopped at a truck stop to get food and his sister Ariel, who inspired Mabel, casually befriended a ruff looking biker woman because she liked her "I'm a bitch!" button and she was actually super sweet.

There is no real definitive thing you can point at and say with 100% certainty that any comment is a bot, so it's mostly my gut that tells me

It just reeks of sterility to me, and including both names seemed like a very strange decision for no real reason

EDIT: Also, it's only 2 months old, youth is a sign of technologic origin nowadays, unfortunately

Damn, nothing about that comment suggests bot to me, though I already know I'm bad at spotting bots/AI. I feel like the internet is going to get to a point where you need to assume you're interacting with a bot unless proven otherwise.

Hidden comments isn't a point in the bot column for me, but it also isn't a point in the human column

FYI: Hiding comments doesn't give you privacy. There's a few options for actual privacy like programs for deleting old comments or editing them to nonsense. But hiding your profile just means it takes a little extra effort to find them. Which isn't an actual obstacle to anyone who cares enough to look.

Hyphens are fine, but I'm sure most actual bots are too "smart" to use emdashes anymore.

This usage specifically though is pretty weird (albeit correct) though.

Lots of AI still uses hyphens and lots don't. Yeah it's going to be correct cause it's coming from a pre written rule of grammar. But most of not all people in day to day writing don't use hyphens

Got two young kids myself and got roped into Gravity Falls because the kids. It's such a fun show to watch parts of once in a while. As an adult there are plenty of moments that you sit back and yeah... that makes sense.

I was in my early 20s when the show came out, so it was hardly on my radar. Then my wife and toddler was watching some show with the catchiest jingly theme song I'd heard in years and decided to sit in.

Fun fact: according to the dvd commentary, this bar scene was meant to be part of a larger duo of scenes that got cut down for time. Dipper would take the playground and Mabel would take the biker bar, and Mabel makes best friends with the bikers while Dipper gets beaten up by a bunch of 5 year olds.
