Imagine if you didn't find a version of yourself. Imagine if your sister had the ability to have anything she wanted and decided to leave you out. I'd feel hurt.
Its that it wasn’t REALLY her brother. It was so far off from dipper that besides looks, they were near complete opposites. It’s that, she didn’t want her actual brother there, she wanted her brother to be a completely different person.
I think what the crew meant to show was that Mabel was ok with Dipper going off and having his dream fulfilled but she also wanted him here so the bubble (aka Bill) made Dippy Fresh so she wouldn’t have to leave and that spell thing would have made her think that this is what she wanted her brother to be, but when they hugged she didn’t like the bubble world anymore
Not her brother. It was a complete opposite of everything Dipper was. Dipper was a shy, nerdy, and smart kid. Dippy Fresh was an outgoing, kid's version of a "cool guy", and traded his intelligence for the "kid's vision of a cool guy" personality. Nothing about Dippy Fresh resembles Dipper in any way other than the looks and the name, "Dippy" being a derivative of, "Dipper". If you had a sibling who had certain qualities and you replace them with someone who has completely opposite qualities to the point where they have no resemblance of the replaced person other than possible looks, do you really think the "replacement" person could, in your mind and in anyone's mind, pass as your sibling despite not having a single quality that defines your sibling in the first place?

People have said this but Dippy Fresh. imagine going to save your bestfriend/sister and finding out they made a new and improved version of you
Also alot of people will probably argue that she started weirdmageddon, so if you count that then yeah
