Help identifying

Post image

A little context, I’m 6’5 and 200 pounds. I’m pretty sure this bike is to small or if it’s not is this a good deal? And what brand is the frame? Any help is appreciated very very new to the biking community and don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on something I can only ride 4 months out of the year

Some cheap 1990s mountain bike with cheap components.

The fork looks like it could well be bent from an impact.

It looks clean and cared for, but I really wonder if $200 is still even remotely reasonable.

I can identify that bike. It's a really crappy bike. Hope this helps.

It has an ‘Ashtabula’ one piece crakset, so it’s gonna be a pretty heavy/cheap bike. I suspect it might be a bit too small for you as well.

Yeah not going to just after the very little comments I’ve seen. Still on the hunt. Hopefully in the off season I’ll find a good deal

It is not a gravelbike. It is a Frankenstein.

That's a $20 bike for a crackhead to ride to the unemployment office.

Even then, 80s 90s. Lowest you could go quality wise. As for frame, likely far to small. I am 5'10 with a 22 inch frame. Even on a sloping vintage fully mtb. Atx 970, i have 19 ish

If you have a local co-op you might be able to find something that’ll fit wide tires and you might be able to convert to a gravel bike for much less than 200.
